Lisa Morse Mother of Ben Morse

March 22, 2020

Over the course of the last six weeks Brody has consistently and responsibly contributed to the household by doing chores such as loading the dishwasher feeding the dog vacuuming the house and taking out the trash In addition to these set chores Brody has willingly done anything that was asked of him without hesitation or complaint Examples of some of those things are carrying in the groceries cleaning his room and folding the laundry I think what is worth noting the most are the things Brody did just because he wanted to be helpful and not because he was requested to do them Like the day he shoveled the driveway for 2 hours without being asked because he knew it needed to be done It is the same way he comes home from school everyday and completes his homework without being reminded before he goes off to play Brody has demonstrated a great sense of responsibility and leadership during this assignment I am confident that this will continue to grow We as parents couldn t be prouder of him When my child is at home they now show respect by helping me even when not asked setting the table and caring for our dogs When I first started at Integrity Martial Arts I didn t think my child could or would have the endurance for an hour class but now he has energy to spare on some nights The thing IMA has helped my child the most with is self discipline he monitors himself more now and checks his own behavior better the in the past
