Sensei Janice Morton

In 1999 I was a mom of three young children under age 5 a college student completing my Bachelor s Degree and someone with a passion to make a difference in the community At the same time I was interested in relieving the stress of being a mom a college student and someone who wanted to save the world by dinner time Luckily for me I walked into the karate studio where sensei Jonathan used to work and asked if he could help me with stress relief I didn t mention the saving the world part right away that came a few moths later Sensei Jonathan inspired me with his love of the martial arts and his commitment to affecting the world around him Walking through those doors was the beginning imaginings for the future but through the martial arts I discovered powerful sides to me that I never knew existed I now have more confidence am a better public speaker and am happier with whom I am In 2001 sensei Jonathan spoke to me about creating Integrity Martial Arts as a company and I was on-board full throttle and excited about the possibilities In the five years since Integrity Martial Arts has provided me a venue where I could bring love and transformation to hundreds of students and their families Teaching is an every day joy of mine especially since what I teach helps our students to be better human beings and could possibly save their life- the ripple effect is immeasurable Integrity Martial Arts community is dedicated to providing a safe place where people can be self-expressed discover the power within and learn the value of service to others I look forward to what the next five years will bring and how our martial artists will paint the world around them
