Kelly Slate Mother of Gillian Easton

When my child is at home they now show respect by doing what is asked of her even if it isn t what she d like to do i e bedtime She is kind to her friends relatives and our pets Gillian is learning to build a thicker skin patience with herself She tends to be really hard on herself and gets upset when she fails to do well When I first started at Integrity Martial Arts I didn t think my child could ever pay attention for more than a minute but now I see her in front position silently waiting for instruction She s got room to improve but she has come a long way in only 3 months The thing IMA has helped my child the most with is self control She is full of energy and easily excited It s nice to see her be able to turn that energy on and off when appropriate
