I frequently see myself as the adopted one in the Integrity Family since I trained for my Black Belt under Hollyand Jon and was tested for Shodon down in NY by Sensei Jon without being a technical student at the dojo itself I didn t have much in the way of family support when it came to my training and was a bit on the quirky side when I began training having lots of character issues to work through I was reserved and shy but on the other hand stubborn and a selfish know it all Sensei Jon had a tremendous influence on my life and through him Sensei Mel and Holly I ve grown into a strong confident man and I stand up for what is right and strive to live an honorable life marked by integrity courage and honor Thank you for the life lessons that you ve given me that I strive to pass on to the students I teach in NY and NJ
